Why start a blog on diabetes? Well, not only to help myself, but maybe even to help others.
I was absolutely confused, and quite appalled, when I was given my "Introduction" to how and what a diabetic should eat. Of course, at first, I believed it. And I immediately became depressed. What the heck am I supposed to eat?
Well, diabetics can eat a lot of things. Everything really, as long as it's in moderation. A diabetics diet isn't in fact a diet. It's a lifestyle, and one that, in all actuality, everyone should follow. I've learned so much through my own research, that I can't help but share it all.
With this blog I will be sharing recipes, tips, websites, and hopefully a real life insight on a diabetics daily struggle.
